Henderson Plea Deal

November 6, 2009
Reported by Joshua Zuber

A former Wyoming state trooper has entered into a plea agreement over charges of possessing anabolic steroids.

Friday morning, in Natrona County District Court, 34-year-old Devan Henderson pleaded guilty in exchange for drug treatment and probation instead of jail time.

Henderson is charged with possession of an anabolic steroid in liquid form, along with other former state troopers who also brought the steroids into the county from Mexico back in 2004.

The other troopers reportedly involved are Adam Lango and Franklin Ryle, Jr.

Adam Lango pleaded guilty to steroid possession charges at the end of October.

Ryle remains in Federal custody, and his case is pending as the Feds work on his alleged kidnapping of a Wal-mart truck driver.

That case is due in court later this month.

Both men faced up to five years in prison before making their plea deals.

The Natrona County District Attorney's office says both men have been very cooperative throughout the investigation.

Henderson faces up to five years probation as well as a five-thousand dollar fine.
