You may have to think more carefully about what you're planting in your yard. The Wyoming game and fish department says ten antelope found dead recently around Cheyenne died from eating from the foliage of poisonous yew bushes. The game department has investigated reports of dead and dying antelope around Cheyenne in recent weeks that coincided with heavy
snowfalls. An investigation at the Wyoming game and fish department laboratory in Laramie has concluded that the antelope died from eating foliage from poisonous yew bushes. The game department says homeowners in rural areas where wildlife is plentiful should consider the issue when choosing shrubbery for landscaping.
