The Wyoming Board of Medicine has temporarily suspended the medical license of a Riverton doctor.
In addition to the suspension, Dr. David Steger must undergo mental and substance abuse evaluations.
According to the board, Steger has had encounters with the law over drunken driving, stalking, prescription drugs, and firearms.
Accusations against the doctor include threatening a physician assistant and possessing a firearm at his medical office.
The board will revisit Steger's case after the evaluations are done.
